7 Year Weller Bourbon Special Reserve Barrel – Fresh Dumped, Once Used

These fresh-dumped 7 Year Weller barrels (Green Label) come to us straight from the Buffalo Trace Distillery and are ready to be filled with beer, wine, cider or any other beverage you can dream up.

The Weller line of bourbons is produced by the Buffalo Trace Distillery of Frankfort, Kentucky. The Wellers are “wheated” bourbons, meaning that the “small” grain in the mash bill is wheat rather than the more customary rye; corn and malted barley make up the “large” and “finish” grains, respectively. This same mash bill is used to make the Van Winkle 10 and 12 year-old bourbons, as well.

**Every last drop of this bourbon is emptied from these barrels so please DO NOT expect there to be bourbon sloshing around in it.  Don’t worry though, the flavor is locked deep in that wood!
