These brand new, never used 5 Gallon White Oak Barrels are perfect for aging whiskey, bourbon, wine, cider and beer. Your beverage will pick up oak flavor during the aging process. Because these barrels are new, they will need to be swelled with hot water before filling.
Important notes: These barrels come with a wooden 1 5/16" bung. However, we recommend purchasing a #7 silicone bung, which can be cleaned and reused indefinitely. Barrel stand is not included with purchase.
PARCEL
Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.
FREIGHT
Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents.
Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering.
At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

I ordered 10 barrels. They only sent five bongs
Hello I purchased two 5 gal new barrels since I had to retire my would barrel due to age . I have successfully made Cabernet Sauvignon in the barrels. I had to drill out some spigot holes for my use. Basically as recommended I prepared the barrels from water leaking, though the wine did sleep out slightly in the beginning. Overall I am very happy and will be acquiring a few more for my cellar. As for the wine, I have bin told it's up there in quality with best. Sincerely Milanko
I would simply like to say BUY THIS i've bought other 5 gallon barrels from other places and they always use a tiny bung and spigot on it but midwest used a nice size bung making it easier to fill, drain, and test whatever juice you put in it i'll be ordering again soon
Super fast shipping. The barrel looks great. I filled it with hot water as directed, only a small amount of seepage on one end. Sealed within one hour. It'll get filled tomorrow with white whiskey for aging. Can't wait for my whiskey to come out of this thing.
