Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Whisky is the result of a mature bourbon whisky spending a second, year-long stint aging in these barrels.

A fine bourbon itself, ready-to-be-bottled Old Forester is transferred into these barrels for a second round of aging that typically lasts about a year. The spirit enters the second barrels at 100 proof, which creates an environment in which even more of the sweet wood sugars can dissolve into the whisky.

Once the final product is bottled, the whisky has a unique character that features a smooth, sweet flavor and a clean, crisp finish.

These secondary barrels would be great fits for your big beers or other hearty barrel-aged projects on your release calendar.
