30 Gallon Caledonia Tom Cat Gin Barrel - Fresh Dumped, Once Used

After aging Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat Gin for six months, these freshly emptied, once-used barrels are ready for your barrel-aged beer, cider, mead, wine or other beverage.

Before aging gin, these 30-gallon American oak barrels were brand new and charred. The oak added familiar whiskey flavors of vanilla and brown sugar to the gin’s citrusy juniper notes, which in turn were soaked up into the wood. 

The barrels’ small format size makes them perfect for any barrel wrangler who wants to try their hand aging something special or just on a smaller scale. 

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.
