25 Gallon Wigle Gin Barrel - Fresh Dumped, Once Used

These small format, 25 gallon Wigle Gin barrels are freshly emptied and then sent to us straight from Wigle Whiskey Distilling, an artisan small batch distillery. Now, they're ready to age beer, cider, wine, kombucha, coffee or other beverages.

The gin is made from a mash of organic rye, wheat and malted barley that's grown in the region surrounding Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where the distillery is located. It's distilled in Wigle's copper pot still, then vapor-infused during distillation with a complex assortment of organic botanicals, including juniper berries, cardamom, angelica, orris root, cubeb berries, anise and lavender.

Important note: These are used barrels. Expect small imperfections and cracks. The barrels have been inspected to ensure they are liquid tight. All barrels come with a wood bung.

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

LOCAL PICKUP

Local pickup is available from our Louisville (Fairdale), Kentucky location.
