10 Gallon Furniture Grade Maple Syrup Barrel
After aging a Colorado bourbon, these 10 gallon barrels aged pure maple syrup from Lincoln County Reserve. Your brew will pick up flavors from both.
These retired barrels were first used for aging Colorado bourbon and then used to age pure maple syrup from Lincoln County Reserve. No two barrels are alike and each boasts plenty of character.
While we don’t recommend barrel-aging beer or other beverages with furniture/decor barrels, they make for great DIY projects, decor, furniture, rain barrels and more. The only limit is your imagination.
Important notes: Because these barrels are authentic, you can expect distillery markings, flat heads and residual material on the inside of the barrel. The outsides have residual maple crystallization. We do not clean these barrels.
Every barrel is unique with its own character and qualities. Images shown are not representative of the exact barrel you will receive, as our inventory is constantly rotating. Barrels will have markings, but each distillery differs in how they stamp and mark their barrels.
Save money when you buy in bulk: Total cost per barrel, after shipping and taxes are applied in the cart, is lower when you buy in bulk (6 small barrels or more). This is because we can ship barrels more efficiently on pallets.
PARCEL
Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.
FREIGHT
Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents.
Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering.
At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

Ordered two of these barrels around Ordered two of these barrels around Christmas time. Barrels were delivered quickly and well-packaged. The maple sugar residue on the outside of the barrels cleared up easily with hot water and some scraping. Here are a couple pictures of the finished product.
