Before it’s bottled, Penelope Bourbon begins as three separate mash bills that each age in barrels for 3-4 years. These barrels aged a wheated bourbon.

Important: Barrels have head bungs.

Penelope Bourbon is a blend of three distinct mash bills – rye, corn and wheated. Each of these separate bourbons is aged in oak barrels for 3-4 years before being blended for the final bottled product.

These freshly emptied, once used Penelope Bourbon barrels aged a wheated bourbon. That higher wheat mash bill results in more of a soft feel accompanied by sweeter notes, perfect for many types of barrel-aged beers, wines, ciders and other beverages.

Important: Barrels have head bungs.
