Do you have an image or logo that you want to see on a barrel head? These reclaimed bourbon and whiskey barrel heads are the perfect canvas for your design.

Each of our engraved barrel heads begins its story in a rickhouse, where it once helped age some of America’s finest whiskey or bourbon. We reclaim these heads from full-size barrels and transform them into showstopping pieces of decor. Crafted from American oak and showcasing natural wood grain, each one brings authenticity, charm, and a whole lot of personality.

Our production team carefully selects the flattest heads for engraving, cuts them from the barrels, and reinforces them with a support board on the back. The metal band is secured with screws and lightly sanded to remove residual rust. The oak surface is smoothed out, and the charred backside is scraped clean. Once engraved with your chosen design, each piece is sealed with a protective polyurethane lacquer to ensure a beautiful finish that lasts.

How to Order

1. Upload your artwork on the product page and add in any additional notes in the "Customization Notes" field above. All we need is an image file, but the more details you provide, the better!

2. Place your order.

3. We’ll review your details and send a proof for your approval within 3-4 business days. Once approved, we’ll fire up the lasers and get to work. Production can take up to 15 business days before your order is on its way.

Important Notes

• Because barrel heads are authentic, you can expect unique wood coloration. Some bands may have residual rust.

• While we scrape off the char, some may still remain. It's tough to remove completely, but we clean each barrel head as thoroughly as possible.

• Size/dimensions are approximate. Height & widths may vary slightly, and some barrel heads may not sit perfectly level.

• The images provided are references only and may not represent the exact barrel head you’ll receive as our inventory is constantly rotating.

ENGRAVED HEADS & STAVES (PARCEL)

All engraved barrel parts (staves & heads) are shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground.

ENGRAVED BARRELS (FREIGHT)

Full size barrels will be shipped via a LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and integrity of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents.

Volume Orders: Barrels can be shipped up to 4 barrels per pallet and 8 barrels per skid (two pallets high).

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering.

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a lift gate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

Local pickup is available for all engraved products from our Louisville, KY location.
