Each gift set includes three sample-sized bags:

• Bourbon Barrel Smoking Wood Chunks
• Red Wine Barrel Smoking Wood Chunks
• Maple Syrup Barrel Smoking Wood Chunks

The bags each have enough chunks for 1-2 uses of average smoking duration.

All Midwest Barrel Co. smoking wood chunks are made from 100% authentic oak barrel staves. The long smoke times and balanced smoke flavors that make oak a meat smoking staple are boosted by complex layers of aroma and flavor from the liquids the barrels aged. 

Our smoking wood chunks are cut 1-4" long. They work best in charcoal or gas smokers, but are suitable for most other smokers and grill types.

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 15 gallons or less) and BBQ Smoking Wood are shipped via UPS or USPS.

Barrel parts and accessories will typically Ship via UPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.
