5 Gallon West Fork Wheated Bourbon Barrel - Fresh Dumped, Once Used

These small format, 5 gallon West Fork Wheated Bourbon barrels were used just once before they were freshly emptied and sent to our warehouse. Now, these barrels are ready to be filled with small batches of beer, whiskey, cider or any other beverage you can dream up. The only limit is your imagination!

Tasting notes of this soft and smooth wheat centric bourbon include hints of vanilla and caramel. The bourbon was aged in these American oak barrels for no fewer than 8 months.

West Fork Whiskey Co. is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their spirits are 100% Indiana from grain to glass.

Important notes: Not all barrels will have a West Fork Whiskey Co. logo on the head as shown in some pictures. Remember, these are used barrels, so expect small imperfections and cracks on the barrel. Each barrel has been inspected to ensure they are liquid tight. All barrels come with a wood bung.

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

LOCAL PICKUP

Local pickup is available from our Louisville (Fairdale), Kentucky location.
