15 Gallon West Fork Chocolate Rye Bourbon Barrel - Fresh Dumped, Once Used

These 15 Gallon West Fork Chocolate Rye Bourbon Barrels will be a treat for any homebrewer or small batch producer looking for a less common, but no less enjoyable, flavor profile.

West Fork Whiskey Co. aged a limited run of its Chocolate Malted Rye Bourbon in these barrels for 2 years and 6 months. The high rye bourbon carries familiar spicy notes, but also carries dryer, dark chocolate notes from the chocolate malted rye – which is rye that has been roasted to a level high enough to caramelize its natural sugars.

West Fork Whiskey Co. is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Their spirits are 100% Indiana from grain to glass.

Important notes: Not all barrels will have a West Fork Whiskey Co. logo on the head as shown in some pictures. Remember, these are used barrels, so expect small imperfections and cracks on the barrel. Each barrel has been inspected to ensure they are liquid tight. All barrels come with a wood bung.

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.

LOCAL PICKUP

Local pickup is available from our Louisville (Fairdale), Kentucky location.
