10 Gallon Distillery 291 Rye Whiskey Barrel - Fresh Dumped

These freshly emptied 10 Gallon Rye Whiskey barrels come to us straight from the acclaimed Distillery 291 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Distillery 291’s Rye Whiskey is made from a mash bill of malted rye and corn mash, then aged for 16-18 months in these barrels. That age statement, combined with the small format size of these barrels, will add excellent rye spice notes to any beer, spirit, wine, mead or other beverage.

Important notes: Remember, these are used barrels, so expect small imperfections and cracks on the barrel. Each barrel has been inspected to ensure they are liquid tight. All barrels come with a wood bung. The previous bung may also be inside the barrel. This will not affect aging quality. Not all barrels have 291 engraving on the head.

PARCEL

Orders for small barrels (generally 5 or less) are shipped via UPS or USPS.

FREIGHT

Volume orders (generally 6+ small barrels) will be shipped via an LTL motor freight provider. To ensure safety and freshness of your barrels, they are wrapped in plastic and strapped down to a pallet with a label identifying the pallet contents. 

Shipment transit times vary depending on location, weather and carrier capacity. For specific delivery dates, expedited shipping, preferred shipping carrier or unique delivery requests contact us directly to arrange your shipment prior to ordering. 

At checkout you will be asked to confirm your delivery location type. If you do not have a loading dock or forklift, a liftgate will be required. Offloads by hand are not available.
