That’s why we were absolutely honored when the publication asked Midwest Barrel Co. Co-Founder & CEO Jess Loseke to share a prediction for the bourbon industry and community for a 2024 look-ahead feature.

Here are Jess’s insights on what’s in store for bourbon, barrels (specifically used barrels, of course) and Louisivlle, too:

At Midwest Barrel Co., we’re essential allies in this arena, aiding distilleries and the wider industry in adopting sustainable practices, especially in extending the life of bourbon barrels. Expanding sustainable practices across more areas of the bourbon industry is a necessary focus to support this growth.

“Additionally, there’s significant scope for tech innovation in bourbon manufacturing and tourism. These traditionally static sectors are now primed for modernization.
