Furniture / Decoration Grade Whiskey Barrel – Grade A

These high grade retired whiskey barrels are ideal for DIY projects, wedding decor, furniture, or even for use as a rain barrel – but we don’t recommend brewing in them – if that’s what you’re after, check out the liquid grade whiskey and bourbon barrels here. They’ll have markings from the distillery where they were used, for example – Woodford, Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, Willett and Four Roses.

Important Note: These barrels are higher quality than the Grade B Whiskey barrels. They are not top fill barrels like the Grade B and will only have the bung in the belly. Typically these barrels will have distillery markings and flat heads. So you can expect residual material on the inside as these barrels are not cleaned out.
